Matt first discovered yoga a few years ago when he wanted to increase his core strength and flexibility for competitive skydiving, which had been a long time passion of his.

Little did he know that it was never about skydiving at all.  Instead, his first steps on this path were about waking up to a new way of looking at life and a new perspective around conscious living.

Yoga and meditation helped him through some traumatic life events, and this led him to discover Kundalini yoga, with its intense focus on breathwork.  He realised that the key to all of all these practices was breath-work, and he became fascinated by the power and use of our breath.

After exploring the Wim Hof method, Matt was hooked on breath-work and the many science-based benefits that it can deliver.  And he wondered, how did we become so disconnected from the one thing that we do so naturally, from the moment we're born to the moment we die?
